Vodafone Warriors team-mates Konrad Hurrell, Shaun Johnson, Feleti Mateo and Ben Matulino will be pitted against each other chasing one spot when the next stage of public voting for the 2013 NRL All Stars is launched in Brisbane on Monday.
They were the Vodafone Warriors’ top four polling players after the first phase in the process to select the side for the fourth annual All Stars match which will be played at Suncorp Stadium for the first time on February 9.
Online voting for prized spots in the NRL All Stars gets under way from 2.00pm NZ time on Monday at CLICK HERE with fans able to select just one player from each of the 16 NRL clubs. Online voting for the Indigenous All Stars will begin at the same time.
More than 15,700 fans had their say in stage one of voting online for the NRL All Stars team to determine a 64-man shortlist.
Fans have until January 14 to cut that to16, with only one player from each club eligible for Wayne Bennett’s NRL All Stars while voters can choose from rugby league’s best indigenous talent for Laurie Daley’s Indigenous All Stars.
The Vodafone Warriors’ All Stars representatives so far have been Manu Vatuvei in 2010 and 2012 and Feleti Mateo in 2011. Joel Moon made the Indigenous All Stars in 2011.
